2011's Wags and Whiskers Family Fun Fair was pawsitively entertaining and successful. The event had over 700 attendees, 200 more than in 2010. The Schenectady County SPCA Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit, primarily law-enforcement organization that works to investigate complaints of animal cruelty. We provide a vital service in our community not completely filled by any other government or private agency. We work very closely with the various police agencies within the area and educate the public regarding proper care of their animals, pet population strategies, and the State’s animal cruelty laws.
